On Monday 22 May, the NCD Alliance hosted an event in the margins of the 70th World Health Assembly focused on Success Factors for NCDs: Pathways to Accelerate Progress.

Moderated by Richard Horton, Editor-in-chief of The Lancet, the panel explored good practice and effective solutions to stimulate progress on NCDs at national and regional level; catalytic strategies in NCD prevention policies and sustainable health systems for NCDs; and highlighted the upcoming 2018 UN High-level Meeting on NCDs as the next global milestone and opportunity to review and accelerate progress.
