In 2025, the seventy-eighth World Health Assembly (WHA78) will take place in Geneva from 19 to 27 May 2025 with proceedings available via live stream.

In this blog, Mina Pécot-Demiaux and Rachael Stanton, from NCDA's Policy and Advocacy team, reflect on the 78th session of the World Health Assembly and its implications for NCDs. 

Thanks to relentless efforts to respond to the NCD emergency, governments worldwide are making progress in addressing NCDs, but challenges continue rising globally.
