The Afghanistan NCD Alliance celebrate World Heart day during two events held in October to raise awareness around noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).

In this blog, Fausto Pinto, President of the World Heart Federation (WHF), calls on medical practicioners, policymakers, the private sector, academia and patients to come together on World Heart Day. 

This World Heart Day, World Heart Federation is asking is asking the world to 'use heart for every heart' and aims to reach as many individuals as possible to help achieve cardiovascular health for every heart.

Rio de Janeiro will be the state of one of the most important cardiology events of the year: the 77th Brazilian Congress of Cardiology together with the World Congress of Cardiology, organised by the Brazilian Society of Cardiology in partnership with the World Heart Federation (WHF).

For the very first time, the World Heart Federation’s World Heart Summit will be held in Geneva, Switzerland. This invitation-only event, which brings together leaders in the field of cardiovascular health, will take place on 21-22 May 2022.
